What we collect
- Account & Contact: name, email, phone, password (hashed), subscription details.
- Usage: session attendance, features used, device/app info, crash logs.
- Payments: billing name and transaction IDs via our processors (we don’t store full card data).
- Check-ins & preferences: inputs you choose to share for Sugam’s Scale (e.g., energy, sleep quality). You can skip or delete these later.
- Support: messages, feedback, survey responses.
- Cookies: essential cookies; optional analytics/marketing cookies (where applicable).
Why we use your data
- Provide and improve the service, live access scheduling, and on-demand content.
- Generate your Sugam’s Scale snapshots and quarterly reports you request.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Communicate about sessions, security, updates, and promotions (you can opt out of marketing).
- Prevent abuse, secure our services, and comply with law.
Legal bases
We rely on your consent, contract necessity (to deliver the service), and legitimate interests (e.g., service improvement and fraud prevention). Where required, we ask for explicit consent (e.g., non-essential cookies or optional check-ins).
Sharing
We share only with:
- Processors that help us run the service (e.g., video platform/VCIRCLE, email & analytics tools, payment gateways such as Zoho/Razorpay, customer support tools). They must follow our instructions and protect your data.
- Law & safety when required by law, regulation, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
International transfers
Your data may be processed outside India. We take steps to protect it (contractual safeguards and access controls).
Your choices & rights
- Access/Correction/Deletion: request a copy, fix, or delete your data.
- Withdraw consent: for optional processing (e.g., marketing emails, optional check-ins).
- Grievance: contact our Grievance Officer below. You may also escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as required by law (e.g., tax). You can delete optional check-ins and request account deletion.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is 100% secure; report issues to admin@varenyam.in.
Children
Family plans allow limited supervised access for minors with parental consent. We don’t knowingly allow unsupervised accounts for users under 18.
Cookies
Essential cookies run by default. Analytics/marketing cookies are optional where legally required—control them via your browser and any cookie banner provided.
Third-party links
Links to other sites are outside our control. Review their privacy notices.
Changes
We’ll update this notice as needed. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.

Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By using Varenyam Light, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Service
We provide digital wellness content: live sessions (1–7 days/week options), monthly 1:1 consults, quarterly Sugam’s Scale reports, webinars/workshops, and on-demand practices.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be 18+ to hold an account. Family plans may include minors with parental supervision.
- Keep your login secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
- Plans renew automatically (monthly or annually) until cancelled.
- Prices and taxes are shown at checkout. We may change fees with reasonable notice for the next term.

5. Scheduling & Attendance
- Flexible live access means you may join any available time slot within your chosen days/week.
- We may change schedules for operational reasons; we’ll notify you where feasible.
6. Health & Safety
We provide general wellness content, not medical care. Follow the Wellness Disclaimer and consult your physician before beginning any program.
7. Acceptable Use
- No recording, copying, rebroadcasting, or sharing access beyond your plan.
- No unlawful, harmful, or disruptive behavior (including harassment or abuse in sessions).
8. Intellectual Property
Content is owned/licensed by Varenyam Yoga Pvt. Ltd. You receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use while subscribed.
9. Termination
You may cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid term. We may suspend or terminate for breach, fraud, or risk to others.
10. Warranties & Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit liability to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We don’t exclude liability where not permitted by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana shall have jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update Terms for valid reasons (e.g., legal, operational). If materially adverse, we’ll provide notice before they apply to your next renewal.

Refunds & Cancellations

Cancelling your subscription
- Cancel from your account or email admin@varenyam.in.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Access remains active through the end of your paid term.
Refunds
- Monthly plans: first-time subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the first payment if you’re not satisfied. Subsequent months are non-refundable once the period starts.
- Annual plans: eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the first annual payment if fewer than 3 live sessions were attended; otherwise a pro-rated refund may apply at our discretion (processing/time used may be deducted).
- Workshops: paid premium workshops can be cancelled up to 24 hours before start for a full refund; no-shows are non-refundable.
- Technical issues: if a platform outage prevents access for more than 48 consecutive hours, contact us for a credit/extension.
How refunds are issued
- Refunds go back to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- Currency conversions and gateway fees are not always refundable.
Changes
We may update this policy for clarity or compliance. The version at purchase time will apply to that purchase.
Note: Local consumer laws may grant additional rights. This policy does not limit those rights.

Results vary
Outcomes depend on individual factors including consistency, baseline health, and adherence. We do not guarantee specific results.
Minors
Family plans may include minors under adult supervision. Adults are responsible for ensuring suitability and safety.

What we’re doing
- Keyboard-navigable menus and focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Color contrast checks and scalable text.
- Captions or transcripts for webinars and recorded sessions where feasible.
Known limitations
Some older replay content may lack captions or full transcripts. We’re working to improve these assets on a rolling basis.
